WHY BECOME A JAFTA MEMBER?
We’re building a stronger film and tv community to benefit not just members but to also add structure and advance best practices and initiatives to benefit the film and tv industry on a whole.
Yes, JAFTA membership will allow you to benefit from our various member benefits, JAFTA Health Insurance and developmental initiatives but we also want to have more voices to address industry issues, sharing of knowledge and skills, greater collaborations and exchanges to help practitioners, improve local content and use film and tv for community outreach initiatives in the wider Jamaican community.
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND JAFTA MEETINGS?
Our JAFTA meetings are open all and you do not have to be JAFTA member to attend. WHEN ARE JAFTA MEETINGS?
Our meetings are on the last Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. and vary between CARIMAC and UWI Community Film Project Office. Watch out for our emails and/or social media posts for updates.
